Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor
and upon conviction shall be subject to a fine of not more than $500.00 for each lot
or parcel of land subdivided or transferred or sold in violation of this chapter.
The description of such lot or parcel by metes and bounds or courses and distances
in the instrument of transfer or other document used in the process of subdividing,
selling or transferring shall not exempt the transaction from the penalties or remedies
set forth herein.
